Midtown has served Northern Utah since 1994. Midtown is a non-profit medical facility providing comprehensive medical, oral health, pharmaceutical, and mental health care services. We offer a medical home with full-time employed family practice physicians, mid-level providers, mental health therapists, and dentists.
Midtown provides affordable care to under served community residents. Over 27,000 individuals receive our services annually. Midtown offers language translation, a sliding fee scale, culturally-competent care, and assistance applying for Medicaid, CHIP and other public programs. Uninsured patients are served on a sliding fee scale established according to income and family size.
Agreements with area hospitals and physicians for discounted or donated services ensure equitable access to specialty and tertiary care for underserved and uninsured community residents. Midtown coordinates over 1.5 million in donated specialty care services annually due to the generosity of community physicians and health and human service providers. Please see our volunteer section for a full list of partners and volunteers.
Midtown is a federally qualified health center supported through federal 330 funding. High-quality care is assured through accreditation by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation for Health Care Organizations. Learn more at www.jointcommission.org.

Patient Testimonials
Evangelina Lopez, Age 43
“The WHC program is very helpful. The doctors are so kind, respectful, knowledgeable and they don’t make me feel embarrassed. Thanks to Midtown Community Health Center the services are free of charge and it is very convenient for people with no insurance like myself and takes a huge burden off of wondering if I can afford services to know that I am free from cancer and healthy to take care of my family. My sister is a cervical cancer survivor and it is a heavy thought constantly in my mind. WHC helps lift that burden when I get my test results back that I am still cancer free.”

“My aunt had breast cancer but it was detected far too late in her life and she passed away. I am very grateful for the wonderful resources like Women’s Health Connection. It was because of this program that I had no excuses to not get checked because services are free. I have been attending WHC every year now and am so relieved knowing I will catch the cancer early.”
